Description
Located at the exclusive neighborhood Forest Hill, in Toronto, and minutes from the city’s downtown, 200 Russell Hill offers an urban lifestyle with an impressive view towards a natural landscape. The building, which is currently under construction, will consist of a five-storey tower with a total of 22 suites that range from 2,043 to over 4,960 square feet. ULMA takes part in this project with its Climbing Bracket BMK, Shaft Platform KSP, Aluminum Panel Formwork CC-4, and Panel Formwork ORMA.
- A highly flexible crane-lifted climbing system, adaptable to inclined and curved walls, minimizing transport volume.
- Work platforms for formwork setting.
- Very versatile formwork system: fast erection of columns and corners.
- KSP platform was utilized for the support of formwork and for elevator cores and staircase shafts where formwork support was necessary.
ULMA Solution
ULMA’s forming systems were used throughout the project to provide solutions for all cast-in-place applications:
- CC-4 decking system was used to form all slabs from parking to penthouse, utilizing the perimeter beam system for slab edge bulkheads.
- ORMA wall formwork was used for all walls, columns, and cores. Coupled with the new Stripping Corner Max, ORMA cores can now be crane stripped and set in one very smooth operation.
- ULMA's flexible MK system was used to build elevator core platforms and exterior platforms to support climbing formwork. These solutions were built off-site and delivered fully assembled, ready for installation.
- High capacity, lightweight ALUPROP shoring was used throughout for restore and CC4 decking.
