Description
Maintenance of oil platforms performed in Puerto de la Luz and Las Palmas (Gran Canaria) from oil fields in southern Africa.Depending on the state of the platform and the type of work required these technical inspections last between 2 and 4 months.
The overhaul consists in:
- Sandblasting, cleaning and painting of the hull
- Maintenance, repair or replacement of steel structures.
- Replacement of propellers, pipes, valves and electrical components
- Cleaning and maintenance of ballast and fuel tank
- Welding, hydraulics and boilermaking works
- Load tests and several technical inspections
